Adobe AIR application is missing the corresponding .xml  

Steps to fix:

  1. Accidentally clicking "Set as Default Application" on a normal ActionScript Class file results in this error.
  2. Open the Project Properties and go to the Flex Applications panel.
  3. Click the original application source file and click "Set as Default"
  4. Click the accidental source file and click "Remove"
